The Art of Woodcarving

For my graduate project at university I created a short documentary about William Barsley, an award-winning, professional woodcarver based in Dartington, England. It follows the process of him creating a coat of arms for a client, whilst also taking a look into his own story and motivations to pursue this historic art form. I created the piece entirely by myself, taking on many roles such as director, camera operator, DP and editor. It has been a great success, achieving a high first and going on to receive over 80k views on Youtube.
